Aqua Lung Vintage Yoke -Dual Stage NOS 1972

Aqua Lung - U.S. Divers 1972 NOS ( New Old Stock ) in original bag *1010-57 / 1000-04

The Long Yoke was first introduced in 1967 catalog as item "K" and was called SEA-DIV adapter to allow a banjo, but then the long yoke became the standard. There were different product numbers for each version of regulator, however this Yoke / Screw "tire" was designed for the dual stage and fits all Aqua Lung dual stage nozzles.

This product is for the Dual Stage regulators that have a Nozzle Insert on the backside or Box Top

*Note the bottom side of a Dual Stage Regulator has a cut-out or recess to accept the nozzle lip on the body

This part number 1010-57/1000-04 may vary if you look at a service schematic since AL/U.S. Divers would assign a part number specific to a model of double hose, chrome verse satin finish, round tire verse V shape knob. But regardless this is same as 1010-74 "long yoke dual stage"

The "Witches Hat" or dust cap is not included, you can purchase new part #1010-12 or you may ask at time of check out if we have any used ok condition dust caps that we can include.

Note the "long yokes" are for divers who wish to upgrade to use an adapter with an Submersible Pressure Gauge ( SPG ), and the new style yokes can be added to some regulators to allow greater tank pressure, or to accommodate modern K valves.

We DO NOT encourage divers to put undue stress or high pressure on the older style, thin and short A shape yokes. This can cause the threads to strip and damage, or catastrophic failure of valve yoke.
